Individual sheep breeds:

JACOB
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 33-35 microns
Fiber length: 85-95 mm
Origin: England

currently my absolute favorite fiber, easy to pull out and thin but still woolly

MASHAM
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 38-44 microns
Fiber length: 150-380 mm
Origin: England

With the long fiber length, I recommend separating the strand in the middle and spinning it with a long draw-out to create a thin and even yarn. The fibers have a wonderful shine!

EXMOOR

100% virgin wool
(Exmoor Horn)

Fineness: 36-39 microns
Fiber length: 90-110 mm
Origin: England

Exmoor has a pleasant fiber length that doesn't cause any problems and feels a bit more robust than Jacob, for example.

COBURG SHEEP
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 29 microns
Fiber length: 120-180 mm
Origin: Germany

CORRIEDALE
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 25-30 microns
Fiber length: 80-120 mm

very very soft, almost velvety!

SWALEDALE
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 35-40 microns
Fiber length: 100-120 mm
Origin: England

The fibers are incredibly voluminous and plush, yet a bit shaggy!

TEESWATER
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 40-60 microns
Fiber length: 150-300 mm
Origin: England

not as voluminous as other fibers I have here, but very fine and beautiful

WENSLEYDALE
100% virgin wool

Fineness: 30-40 microns
Fiber length: 200-300 mm
Origin: England
