spinning fibre
Since I not only knit but also spin, I got some of my favorite sheep in fiber form! The pictures are only examples of colours i dyed on this base.

Individual sheep breeds:
JACOB Fineness: 33-35 microns |

currently my absolute favorite fiber, easy to pull out and thin but still woolly |
MASHAM Fineness: 38-44 microns |
With the long fiber length, I recommend separating the strand in the middle and spinning it with a long draw-out to create a thin and even yarn. The fibers have a wonderful shine! |
Fineness: 36-39 microns
Exmoor has a pleasant fiber length that doesn't cause any problems and feels a bit more robust than Jacob, for example.

COBURG SHEEP Fineness: 29 microns |
CORRIEDALE Fineness: 25-30 microns |
very very soft, almost velvety!
SWALEDALE Fineness: 35-40 microns |
The fibers are incredibly voluminous and plush, yet a bit shaggy!
TEESWATER Fineness: 40-60 microns |
not as voluminous as other fibers I have here, but very fine and beautiful

WENSLEYDALE Fineness: 30-40 microns |
