  • i do my best to dye yarns in the most resource-efficient way possible. the water I use is reused as often as possible. the yarns dry on their own, either in the garden or inside the house and the electricity i use is largely generated by our photovoltaic system. the packaging I use for shipping is 100% recyclable, environmentally friendly, and, as far as possible, plastic-free.

  • when selecting yarns, i make sure that the animals have the highest and most natural living standards possible. Both the animals and the people within the supply chain must be considered when it comes to selling products. it's important to me that issues like minimum wage and social justice are also considered in the fibre arts, not only when it comes to the artists in germany who dye these yarns.

  • the fibre arts fall under the term "slow fashion," and for me, it's an expression of sustainability. with my yarns and knitting projects, which i share online, i try to inspire you and contribute to ensuring that this planet lasts a few more years.
